News For 2011

 

Date:		30th November 2011		Subject:		Change In Christmas Competition Date
To ALL Members ... Please note that the date for our Christmas Competition and Lunch has changed to the 11th December 2011 due to a double booking at the Rugby Club.
Date:		18th November 2011		Subject:		Events Calendar updated and October Results posted
The results have now been posted for the two October events (Bassetlaw Bowmen and Belvoir Archers). We have also posted the provisional events calendar for 2012 thanks to information supplied by Mike Thomason. Some of the dates and venues are yet to be confirmed and will be corrected once known. If your event is missing then please feel free to contact us to get it added in. Please check the Members Info page for details of this years Frostbite dates and Christmas shoot.
Date:		15th August 2011		Subject:		Junior selection for the Nottinghamshire County Team
Congratulations go to our very own Ellie Brown who has been selected for the Nottinghamshire County Junior Team. We are all very proud of you, well done.
Date:		14th August 2011		Subject:		Field Closed To Shooting
We have just been informed by Worksop RUFC that the field will be closed to Archery for the whole day on Sunday 11th September 2011 as they will be using the field.
Date:		26th July 2011		Subject:		Selection for the Nottinghamshire County Team
The selection for the Nottinghamshire County Team has recently been published and we would like to congratulate our very own Andy Brown for making the team. The full list of team members in each class can be found here on the Nottinghamshire Archery Society web site.
Date:		25th July 2011		Subject:		Belvoir Archers - Summer Windsor - 24th July 2011
The results are in from Belvoir Archers Summer Windsor which was held on the 24th July 2011. It was mainly a bright sunny day with light winds and a good day was had by all who attended. Please see see our Events & Results page for a link to the Resuls.

The results are in from Bassetlaw Bowmen annual Pie 'N' Peas Shoot which was held on the 10th October 2010. The day started a little cloudy but soon brightened up to a lovely sunny day which was very warm and hardly any wind. It would appear a good day was had by all who attended. The results are in from Bassetlaw Bowmen annual Pie 'N' Peas Shoot which was held on the 11th October 2009. Dark clouds and the cool breeze could not spoil the mostly sunny day that graced us for the shoot. It would appear a good day was had by all who attended.
